The O’Callaghan Hotel Group
O’Callaghan Hotels are a privately-owned hotel group based in Ireland. The O’Callaghan Hotel Group began in 1990 when the first hotel, the Mont Clare opened in Dublin. Since 1990 the O’Callaghan’s have opened three more hotels in Dublin, The Davenport Hotel in 1993, The Alexander Hotel in 1997 and The Stephen’s Green Hotel in 2000. Each one of these hotels is different in its design and offerings. They range from classic to contemporary to a more boutique style. Each Dublin hotel is conveniently based in the down town area which is surrounded by local attractions and some of Dublin’s main financial and business communities.
The portfolio in Dublin is regularly evolving so the O’Callaghan Hotel Group extended internationally and launched two new hotel properties, one in Gibraltar in 1996 and the other in Annapolis, Maryland in USA in 2002.
Next on their list…United Kingdom. And where better to locate a brand-new hotel than Cambridge? Hence, Tamburlaine was created. Finished in 2017, it is a new breed of hotel for the O’Callaghan’s. Inside Tamburlaine, the look is polished and contemporary with subtle accents of Persian influence and echoes of Cambridge’s old school charm.
The team at each of the O’Callaghan hotels is selected for their passion and excellent customer service skills. That is why returning guest numbers are high at O’Callaghan hotels. Their guest loyalty is second to none.
O’Callaghan Hotels are all in fantastic locations for both leisure and business travellers. Each one of their hotels is individual and renowned for excellence. We welcome you to all of them.
