The museum is attached to the main university and is a short distance from The Tamburlaine Hotel Cambridge.
The Cambridge Mystery Treasure Trail
There are lots of excellent places to stay in Cambridge, but the chances are you’ll want to get out and see the local area so being centrally located is a must. Mystery treasure trails can be found throughout the UK but Cambridge is lucky enough to have its very own. The Cambridge Mystery Treasure Trail is a great way for kids to explore and as it is self-guided, it’s ideal for large groups as well as families. The trail is around two miles long and there are clues to answer, signs to find and directions to navigate along the way. Budget a couple of hours to complete the trail, more if you plan to stop for a drink or a picnic on the way.
Jesus Green Outdoor Pool
You don’t need to head abroad to have a great outdoor swimming experience. Jesus Green Pool is one of Cambridge’s largest pools and one of the longest pools in the country, meaning there’s lots of room for kids to play. It’s a great activity during the summer months and is the perfect place to enjoy a beautiful British summer’s day.
